The Portland Shotokan Dojo has been open since 1997.   Our Dojo Leader is Stuart Iwasaki who is a 3rd degree black belt.  In addition, we have four 2nd degree black belt instructors: Mervin Calverley, Fred Pool, John Hill and Carolyne Haycraft and two 1st degree black belt instructors: Blaine Jarnagin and Cindy Hayes
